Feedback: LaFargeville Woman Says Daughter Died From Gardasil Treatments

In February, Jessica Ericzon died under mysterious circumstances, leaving a Jefferson County Medical Examiner baffled.

According to an article in this morning’s New York Post, Jessica took three injections of the controversial vaccine last summer.

It is those shots that Jessica’s mother, Lisa, is blaming for her death, saying that Jessica was a “guinea pig”.

Air Force Major Christopher Cooper graduated from Massena Central School in 1992.

Update: Part Of Route 81 Overpass May Be Damaged Beyond Repair

bridge1.jpgA portion of the Interstate 81 - Michael Road overpass may be damaged beyond repair, according to the State Department of Transportation.

DOT spokesman Mike Flick told 7 News  Tuesday that two beams, approximately 50 feet long, were bent along their entire length.

Rivera Will Go On Trial For Arson

rivera.jpgThe case of a New York City man accused of torching an apartment house in Watertown will go to trial this summer.

A trial date was set for August 4 for 30 year old Carlos Rivera, who’s charged with arson and assault in the December fire that destroyed a huge apartment building on Academy Street.

Consolidation Of Polling Places Causes Controversy

voting.jpgA change in where some St. Lawrence County voters will have to go to vote this fall isn’t sitting well with three Canton area communities.

If you normally vote at the Pyrites Fire Station or at the Morley Community Center or at the Rensselaer Falls Fire Hall, you now will have to travel to the Canton Fire Station to have your vote counted.

Trial Date Set For Accused Rapist

Last December, a grand jury indicted 31 year old Travis Jordal on charges of second-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.

Fallen Soldiers Honored In Iraq

memorial1.jpgSoldiers at Camp Victory, Iraq, are remembering 25 year old Sergeant Alex Jimenez of Massachusetts and 19 year old Private Byron Fouty of Michigan.

A memorial to the two 10th Mountain Division soldiers stands outside the Multi-National Division - Center headquarters.

Feedback: Watertown Business Cutting 40 Jobs, JCIDA Offers Help

covidien.jpgA Watertown manufacturer of hospital equipment is cutting 40 local jobs and sending them to China at the beginning of 2009.

Covidien, formerly Tyco Health Care, told its employees Friday that it would be ending the manufacture of two of its products at its Watertown facility on Faichney Drive.

The Jefferson County Industrial Development Agency says it has reached out to help Covidien.
